How to get Niji Expressive Style In Stable Diffusion?!

 One of the reasons many people like Mid Journey is because of it's anime model called Niji Journey. Arguably the best tool to generate AI anime images, it can generate not only people or portraits but anything like landscapes, scenery, close ups etc. Overall you can generate pretty much anything.

While stable diffusion give you much more control and there are many models you can use, it still lags behind when you have to create anything other than people. But not only that, there is still one thing in which Niji Journey is arguably better than Stable diffusion.

That's it's styles. Niji Journey has few styles while Stable Diffusion has many. And all those styles are really good, no doubt but Niji Journey's styles are also really good. It's sad that you can't get the same style in Stable Diffusion using just Prompts. But what if I tell you that there's a way to get Niji Journey's styles in Stable Diffusion.

Also, It's really easy! You just need to go to this link. It's a lora trained on images generated using Niji Journey and the results it gives are no less than mind blowing. You just need to download and put this lora in the loras folder and you are done. 

After that, just use this in the prompt and you are good to go. I personally recommend keeping the weights of the lora less than 0.9. Well then, that's it. that's how you can get Niji Journey's style in Stable Diffusion.

 Hello. It's another post about something I have already done twice. But I can't do anything about it... yes, i don't have any other ideas. So, I will post some eyes again... It will be the last time, I promise.

The theme this time is quite different, It's not about universe and stars. This time theme is glassy and forest eyes. It might not make sense. But after you see these images, I am sure you will understand what I mean. These images are also generated using dall e-2. I don't like to use Mid journey but I do use stable diffusion. so, in future I will be posting images made using that. Yeah... i am sure you will like it. Lol.

Prompt for all these image was : iris, eye, (forest, vines, dark green)/(glass, gems, clear). You can use modifiers like extremely detailed or ultra detailed for ore details. Well then, that's it.

Generate Images for Free using Stable Diffusion by using CatBird

In order to run Stable Diffusion, you either need a good GPU or you have to use cloud services like Colab, Paperspace, Runpod etc. There are many other websites that do allow you to generate images using stable diffusion but you get only few credits and after you run out of credits, you have to purchase them. So, nothing is completely free, right?

Well, no. Because there is a website that lets you generate unlimited free images. That website is... catbird. Yes, you read it right.

You just need to go to this link. You don't need to sign up or anything. After that, just type your prompt and your images will be generated after few seconds. The best thing about this website is that, not only it is completely free but you get to chose from multiple models. You have anime models, photo realistic models and even nsfw models. Which means that you can generate nsfw images using this website which even some of the paid services doesn't allow you to do.

You can change the resolution of the images, set the seed and number of steps but the maximum number of steps is only 35 but it's enough in most cases. You can even use negative prompt to avoid things you don't want to appear in your images.

Overall it's a pretty good website. It's completely free and the amount of generations you get are unlimited which is mind boggling. No other service provides that.

So, if you were looking for a way to use stable diffusion web-ui in your browser, it's a good way to do that.

 After last post, I created some more beautiful eyes created using Dall e -2. My mind was once again blown away. I think I should probably expect that AI won't most likely disappoint me. With the rate it's growing, it feels impossible to get disappointed by artificial intelligence especially, AI art.

So, without further ado, let's see what I created. Also, these images are created using Dall e-2 and using same the same prompt as last post. Basically using this prompt : iris, universe, cosmic, stars, photo realistic. Yep, only five words. It was enough.

Mesmerizing Images (Eyes) Created by AI - 1

 Using Artificial Intelligence is pretty much a part of my daily life now. And one of the things I use it for generating images. Honestly, I am amazed every time I create images using AI. Whether those images can be considered art or not is a separate thing, for now I just want to enjoy making these masterpieces.

So, I got an idea. How about sharing these images to world? Well, people couldn't care less since they can create art themselves. Maybe even better than me. You just need to make good prompts and you are done. Still, you might get ideas or inspiration from these images. And even if you don't, such beautiful images will surely relax your soul and please your eyes.

That's why, Today's theme is eyes, specifically COSMIC EYES. Mesmerizing eyes, beautiful eyes, pretty eyes etc. whatever you want to call them. I created them using Dall e-2. It didn't even need me to put a detailed prompt. Just few words and I got mind blowing results. It rivals Mid Journey is that aspect.

Well... that's it. I hope you liked these images. Honestly, it's quite ironic. These images blow my mind away yet worry me. These images prove the capabilities of AI. Good artists, in fact anyone if they train hard enough can create such beautiful but it will take so much time and resources but it took five words and few seconds to create such amazing images. AI is scary, isn't it...

(By the way, you can use them any way you like, since I didn't create them anyway...) 

FREE MIDJOURNEY ALTERNATIVE??

 Midjourney is probably the most popular and used AI art generator out right now, rivaled only by stable diffusion. But they has their own limitations. First of all, they aren't free. You have to subscribe to a monthly membership to use Mid Journey. Now, you don't even get 25 free generations. As for stable diffusion, you either have to use cloud services like Colab, Paperspace etc or have to have a good gpu to run it locally on your PC. But both of those methods are not cheap. Now that Google Colab had started giving warnings to free tier users who use stable diffusion webui, it has become even more difficult to use stable diffusion for completely free of charge. Then, there are some services that give you some credits to generate images per day but many times either they are not enough or you can't create certain images using those services.

However, what if I told you that there is a service completely similar to Mid Journey but free? Yes, there is a service known as Blue Willow. It's on discord which means you create images using discord bot and even the way you phrase your prompts, it;s completely similar to Mid Journey. It means that you can use the prompts used on Mid Journey in Blue Willow.

So, how can you use Blue Willow to generate images for free.

1.  Since Blue Willow is on discord, you need a discord account to use it. If you don't have one, you can create it for free. After creating an account, you need to join their discord server. Link to Blue willow discord server
2. After joining their server, you have to accept their terms and conditions.
3. That's it. Then, just go to any channel which has a name similar to #rookie, and type a command /imagine and type your prompt.
4. In less than a minute, you will be presented with 4 images. Just like in Mid Journey, you can chose any image out of four you want to upscale or create variations of.
   

Well, that's how you can create AI images for free. Blue Willow is really similar to Mid Journey. If you want you can use several other parameters like change the ratio of your images or image to image etc. But currently, it's completely free. 

The only limitation is that it's not as good as Mid Journey and you need to write a very detailed and long prompt to get good results but still it's better than base stable diffusion models. And if you learn to write detailed prompts, you can generate mind blowing images that will be on the same level as Mid Journey.

In recent times, Artificial art a.k.a AI art has become really popular. You might not have heard of AI art or you might have tried it yourself, but you must have heard of Midjourney or Stable Diffusion or Dall e-2. You might have seen those artworks floating around the whole internet that look really cool and amazing and makes you think that the person who created those pieces of art was really talented. But then you find that those artworks were created by Artificial Intelligence, your mind gets blown away.

How can AI create such beautiful artworks?

Well, that's to be expected. For someone who isn't a AI nerd or tech geek, it will definitely come as a surprise. But for those who keeps track of these developments even a little bit they wouldn't be surprised. Because AI art has come a long way and grown really quickly in just a matter of few months. It's unreal.
 
AI ART is truly amazing. From landscapes to portraits, from vintage style to futuristic style, there is almost nothing it can't create. And countless people are using AI to generate art every second. Mid Journey's discord server has almost 14 million people... It's the largest server on the platform. Yes, many of those members aren't real. Still, that's the proof of AI art's popularity. If you can pay few bucks and make your fantasies become real, people wouldn't think twice.

Not only that, there are people who are ready to spend hundreds of dollars on GPU just so they can run AI art models at their own home and get full control of what they can create. But even if you don't have money and if you are broke, there are many apps on play store and app store that let you generate AI art for free, thought you have to watch few ads after generating a single artwork.

At first glance, it seems exciting that AI can create mesmerizing and awesome artworks. But it's only after you take a deeper dive that you find the problems with it and realize that it's not as simple as it sounds.
 
So, in this article we are going to discuss the problems with AI ART and potential harmful effects of it. Is it going to be end of actual Art? Is it going to end of creativity and much worse, is it going to be end of humans. It might sound far fetched but it's not.

• Is AI ART actually art?

  Before we talk about whether AI will be end of art or not, we need to discuss if AI art can actually be considered art. There are two sides to this. Most average people love the fact that they can create whatever they want without having to pay almost nothing. So, they argue that AI art is also art. However, most artists and many sane people believe that it's not art. If we look at the definition of 'art', they are right. Because generating art with AI doesn't involve creativity and skill. You only have to write a 'prompt' and that's it. Now, some might say that it takes skill to create a good prompt and hence get a good result. That might be true for some art generators but you still don't have to write essays to get good results. Generally you just have to explain your subject and style and you are done. There is little to no creativity involved.
  

• Who owns the AI art?

  Next big question or problem is who actually owns the AI generated art? Now, there aren't clear laws regarding this yet. But we can still talk about this. Actually there are three possible outcomes. Since Artificial Intelligence was used to generate the art, then it own the copyright. Second one is that the company who made that model or generator will be the owner. Or in the last case, no one will own the right to artworks created using AI and they will become public property. 

  But whoever owns the copyright, it doesn't change the fact that all these AI models used to create AI art are trained on artworks of artists and without their consent. Now, some art generators have allowed artists to opt out of the dataset used to train these image to text models. So, another possibility is that those artists will own the rights. But if an AI artwork uses styles of multiple artists, then what? Will artists divide the ownership between them?    

  There is still no clear answer or law regarding this. But one thing is clear, those people who say that they 'created' AI art and that they own the rights to that artwork and call themselves artists are lying.

• How will it effect artists?

  What impact will AI have on artists? It's already clear. Many people have entered art competitions and have won using artworks generated using AI. Like, in August 2022, a guy won a first prize of 300$ in digital art competition in Colorado. In 2018, an artwork Edmond de Belamy was sold for $432,000. 

  There are lot of books that have been published that were created using AI. Many people believe that AI will severely affect artists. Because people will no longer need to pay artists to get their done. They can give a command to AI and get it done for free. In fact, it's beginning to happen. Not only individuals and small organizations, large organizations are using AI instead of hiring actual artworks.

  Many artists have told that it has become more difficult to search for work because people can just replicate their style using AI.
  

So, it's clear that AI is already having an impact on society. While it's not harmful to most people, artists are suffering and they are going to suffer, unfortunately. Worse part is that no one cares. AI is going to develop at an even faster rate. But most people don't care since they are benefiting from using AI. They can generate art using AI, sell those pieces of art and call themselves artists while real artists will struggle to even find work.

 They will have to adapt to it and learn how to use it. That's the only way.
